Exit Mine adds one clear goal to classic minesweeper logic: build a path to the exit. You don't have to clear the whole board. Connect the entrance in the bottom-left corner to the exit in the top-right corner with opened safe cells, moving up, down, left, or right, and the stage is cleared.
Classic has no time limit: the fewer cells you open, the better your record, so every move should count. Time attack gives each stage a time limit, and the faster you reach the exit, the better. A daily board lets everyone compete on the same puzzle each day.
Every board is checked by a solver when it's created. If you follow the revealed numbers and only open cells you're sure are safe, you can always reach the exit — there's never a 50/50 coin flip. Boards start at 10×10 and grow by one cell per stage, up to 19×19 in stage 10.
